Beverly Sherratt is a founding Director of The LaunchPad Academy CIC.
She is also owner / founder of Profectus 4 People Limited, specialising in organisation and people development. Beverly became passionate about organisation design, development and culture after leading a previous North East employer to the highest position locally in the Best Company Awards and successfully securing £25,000 worth of Challenge Fund money in response to the Dame Carol Black Health & Wellbeing Report. This fund allowed a research project into the impact of organisation culture on mental health. The project was recognised at the Better Health at Work Awards and Beverly supported SMEs within the North East with her findings, together with significantly reducing absenteeism in the host organisation for the project.
These projects together with her Human Resource experiences were the driver for setting up The LaunchPad Academy CIC with Jo. Beverly has seen so many people leave organisations with stress, depression and burn out - some never to return. Her research has demonstrated a link between cultural change, the pace of change and an employees response or engagement. Beverly wants to use her expertise to enable people to recognise they have career choices and to facilitate early intervention for both employers and employees.
Her passion for helping people to be "standout" candidates comes from spending a number of years designing and delivering recruitment Assessment Centres for large national organisation recruitment programmes, as well as being a trainer for assessors.
Beverly has over 20 years of Human Resources experience working nationally as well as across the North East. She is a NLP practitioner, mentor and is accredited in DISC and i3 behavioural and personality profiling tools. She regularly speaks to HR professionals, Leaders, in Schools, Colleges and Universities as a guest speaker at events.
